A momentous moment unfolded at Gaur Yamuna City, Greater Noida, with the inauguration of India’s tallest Lord Krishna statue, standing at a grand 108 feet. This epic occasion was illustrious with a magnificent event, amalgamating commitment, tradition, and technology.
A Divine Commencement
The event began with a sacred Pooja inside the temple, where priests executed traditional rituals, invoking godly blessings. Following this, a Shobha Yatra led devotees from the temple to 16th Parkview Gate in a grand procession filled with enlightening performances, religious songs, and divine passion. The morning concluded with a Bhandara, offering a vegetarian feast to thousands of devotees, promoting an essence of community and devotion.
An Evening of Magnificence
As the evening unfolded, guests arrived to a heartfelt welcome with tea, coffee, and snacks, setting the stage for an event of cultural prosperity. The host announced the evening, followed by a welcome speech from the Chief Managing Director, sharing the motivation behind this monumental statue.
A traditional lighting of the lamp marked the opening of the celebrations, followed by the ribbon cutting on the stairs leading to the statue. The holy Murti Pooja and Mandir Darshan then offered devotees a moment of heavenly connection.
